cRaft FuN . jAmie'S sHoweR & a BirtHday!!

We had a fun and busy weekend!! Heather, Ashley and I started the day off with the Craft Fair, which is always lots of fun!! I saw some [adorable] pettiskirts there and am pretty sure I MUST get one for Jackobi! I can't believe I passed one up & have been looking online for one just as cute since!! (whatever the opposite of buyers remorse is, I HAVE IT!!! Then we had a tasty lunch @ Upper Crust ... good food and good company! Can't start the weekend off much better than that!!

After that Jackobi and I headed to Jamie's baby shower! I can't believe she's due in less than 6 weeks!! She and Alan decided to be SURPRISED with the baby's gender, so it'll be fun to find out if they're having a BOY or GIRL ... I'm so excited for them!!

Then on Sunday we got to celebrate my Grandma Bellem's seventy.seventh birthday!! Jackobi had a blast playing with my cousin's little boys and it was fun to celebrate with my Grandma before her trip! What a great weekend while they boys were away playing!

This is the only picture I got from Nate's camping trip (I guess boys aren't that in to picture taking :) ) But all in all, I think they had a great trip! Probably could have done without the rain, but I guess what do you expect when you camp in late-October?? But they sure do love their annual campout! [so do I!!]

Kiddie Maze

The other day my mom and I took Jackobi and AnnaLeigh to the little kiddie maze at Garden Cents. I wasn't sure how well they would like it, but they LOVED it!!

There were little things hidden throughout the maze for the kids to find and I think that was their favorite part! They would run around and look in all the little nooks and cranny's for little hidden treats!

They also had a little 'tunnel' for them to go through, which was a hit! Too bad I had a little pony tail in Jackobi's hair ... when she'd go through it would drag across the top of a straw bale and she had a TON of straw in her hair!

It was a lot of fun, the girls literally ran like little maniacs through the maze several times. It was great to watch! I'm glad Rupert has fun little things like this for us to do!

PumPkin BumpKin ...

We took Jackobi to the Pumpkin Patch today and had SO MUCH FUN!!! I don't know why, but she absolutely LOVES pumpkins! She played with them in our front yard after we got home for a good 45 minutes and would give them each kisses! Cute!

From the minute we got out of the car Jackobi was all over the place! Running around the rows of pumpkins and yelling and singing. She especially loved the straw stacks with pumpkins throughout them. Even though she got 'high centered' a time or two, she loved climbing on the bales of straw.

And was really proud when she got to the top!

Our silly little girl has been pretty obsessed with tummy's and belly buttons lately. This is the only picture I could get her to really 'pose' for me! She wouldn't stop lifting her shirt up! Anyways, I thought it was pretty funny. She'll love this picture when she's 15 I'm sure!

There were so many different types of pumpkins, Jackobi had fun playing with the white ones and bumpy ones the most. She even found that some pumpkins make a pretty good chair. I love all the fun new things we get to do with Jackobi as she gets older. She's so much fun, I love her spunky little personality! We never know what she'll do next!

Becky bought a new house a few months ago so Jackobi and I were excited to make a trip to Utah to check it out and celebrate her birthday!! Her new house is SUPER cute and I'm pretty sure I need to hire her to come and decorate my house! :) We had lots of fun at lunch and exploring her new city! Thanks Becky for such a fun visit!! We had a blast & hope you had a wonderful birthday!!!

Birthday Bash!

We celebrated my mom's birthday with her, what a great night! It was really low key, but Jackobi and AnnaLeigh had a blast running around playing with her! Happy Birthday Mom!!

Kenzie's Half Time Show!

We went to the Minico football game the other day and Kenzie got to dance at half time! I always love it when the little girls get to do the show. I can't wait until Jackobi is old enough to do things like this!! Good Job Kenz!!

Keeping Us Busy!!

Jackobi is such a busy little girl! She doesn't sit still for very long and is always running around doing something (or getting into something!!) She recently has become a trick pony rider ... I catch her standing and rocking on her horse ALL THE TIME! It must be funner that way!

She also LOVES to help in the kitchen. In fact, if I'm cooking, she has to sit right next to me and help. I love it!

It amazes me how quick she catches on. I had to change the batteries in one of her toys the other day and the next day she got her little screwdriver out and tried to take the screws out of the back of her piano just like she had seen me do. Too funny!!

This is another little 'trick' that she has picked up. Why do little fingers have to fit perfectly up their little nose? Ugh!!

Jackobi is at such a fun and busy age right now! She's keeping us on our toes that's for sure!
