Growing up on a small farm, you forget that having animals around isn't a normal, everyday thing for all kids. Recently, Jackobi discovered Grandpa's cows. And boy does she LOVE to go and look at them! Just about everyday, she asks me if she can go see 'Papa's Cows' ... it's fun to watch them together as he takes her out to see them. When it was cold, he would load her up in his pickup and drive her out into the pasture until the hungry cows would surround his pickup. She thought that was pretty fantastic! I can already tell it's how they bond. I can see myself in her when I was a small child, running behind Dad in my little irrigating boots. Tagging along to see what's in store. [it was never work] I'm pretty sure Jackobi has him wrapped around her little finger ... It makes me smile to know that they will have many more adventures visiting 'Papa's Cows.'

Oh I love it!! I think thats why I love Teague's passion for it as well, because I have so many memories "Helping Dad"! Its so fun to see them get excited!
I am a loser friend and blogger! Where have I been? I just enjoyed your blog entries since x-mas pretty much! I love Jakobi's birthday pictures and the smilebox is just darling and the V-day dress pictures with the balloons - how cute are you! Not to mention of course the swimming pictures and our outing to a restaurant pictures came out great too. Let's not forget the UNC picture is classic and your Vegas trip looks so fun.
