we enjoyed the ride ...

Last weekend we traveled to Boise to watch Casey play his final games as a Spartan. And although the State basketball adventure didn't quite turn out like we all had hoped, that doesn't mean that we didn't enjoy this season of basketball greatness any less! Jackobi LOVED each and every game. Most of the time you could catch her waving her pom pom yelling "GO CASEY" or "GO MINICO" ... this week in fact, she put on her little cheerleading outfit and ran through the house doing exactly that.

cheering on her favorite Spartan! After every game, Jackobi had to greet Casey with a huge hug. No matter how long we had to wait, we had to stay until he left the locker room so she could see him. She's one pretty proud neice!!

Kashton was an absolute gem the entire weekend. We drug him to crowded, loud gyms and he was perfect. It was the perfect weekend to debut his new Minico attire ... hopefully little shirt this will last us through baseball season as well, but as fast as this little guy is growing I won't hold my breath!

sweet kiddos! I love them!
we had such a great weekend away.
we loved basketball this year, but are
super excited for baseball to start!!

champs

they're the best in the district
no doubt about it

... and did I mention they [throttled]
Twin Falls in the district championship?
53-28 they made it obvious who deserved it.

Congrats Spartans.

:: wins ::

the wait is over ... Minico is going to State!

we've had so much fun watching Casey play basketball this year. last night was the icing on the cake for the season so far. after 22 years of waiting, he & his teammates are [finally] taking the Spartans back to the State tourney.

doesn't get much better than this.
keep it up Spartans.
[four] more wins.

Jazz Game

Nate, Jason, Ramon & JoEllyn went to the Jazz v. Mavs game last week! They had really good seats & Nate said the game was awesome. (Even though Nate was rooting for the Mav's and the Jazz ended up winning.) It's fun having a pro team pretty close, maybe next year the Jazz will draft someone Nate actually likes so I can convince him to go to more games!
