kashton is a {year} old!!
where does the time go? It seems like it wasn't that long ago when this sweet boy was placed in our arms at the hospital. From the moment he joined our family he has been so happy and content.
walks 5-6 steps at a time, usually just for something he wants like food or mommy ♥
has TEN teeth and is working on two more!
LOVES to eat, although he's getting more picky about what you stick in front of him.
SMILES on end :: he is so happy.
Gives kisses ... lots and LOTS. LOVE him!
doesn't like hats
Loves books and cars! He will drive them forever making a little motor sound. love it.
is into EVERYTHING!
Is a climber! I walked into the toy room the other day and he was on TOP of the picnic table. Silly boy.
LOVES the stairs. Usually just when we notice he's heading for them. Then he books it up. I think he likes the chase :)
Is sensitive to peanuts. Okay, maybe full blown allergic.
Adores his sissy! She makes him smile SO MUCH!!
Loves bathtime and splashing!
Is fascinated with our dogs
Is totally stubborn and loves having his way. He will grunt or squeal at you when he disapproves. (usually a high pitched squeal :))
Had quite a bit of hair ... looks like it might be curly in the back.
hates his nose cleaned/picked, whatever you want to call it. he hates it.

maybe he knows his hand isn't supposed to be in the whopper jar :)
... and we have the first taste of chocolate cake.
he looks unsure, but fully embraced it.

{becky's} baby shower
my sweet friend Becky is having a baby girl in February!
[or January if there's an early debut!]
Lindsey & I decided to throw her a shower while
everyone was home for the holidays. So mid-morning
New Years Eve we packed up & headed to Malad!

Christmas in our house this year was so magical. The excitement on Christmas Eve was beyond what I could have imagined! Not only for Jackobi, but for us! We had a little "slumber party" upstairs and all camped out on Christmas Eve so we could all wake up together on Christmas morning & go down stairs together. It was so much fun.

Jackobi was so excited to get downstairs and check things out I think she was still a little groggy when she actually came to her stocking and gifts from Santa. The first thing she took note of was the little Tiana polly pocket in her pile (the smallest thing there!) We had to actually point out the big play house before she even took note of it! Once she realized, it was a hit! :)
This year was our first Christmas that we didn't have anything really "scheduled" so we were able to really take our time and enjoy the excitement of Christmas morning. After playing with the gifts from Santa for awhile, we dove into the wrapped gifts under the tree.
It didn't take Kashton long to figure out what to do!
